Prof. Paiboon Sitthithaworn et al. develop rapid urine test kit substitute for faecal sample test.

The advantage of this new test is

1. world first urine test kit for detect liver fluke

2.rapid test reduce time of process require for conventional ELISA from 6 hours to 10 minutes

   and detect liver fluke infection even if very low helminth or egg

3.cheaper for half of conventional ELISA that cost 250 Thai Baht per case

4.easy to access, precious and early treatment

5.improve quality of life of Esarn people, 10-20 million people need screening and infected 20,000-30,000 case per year
